Vivid Sydney

All images by Glenn Chiofalo

Sydney Harbour was recently all lit up for the Vivid Festival. A festival of light, music & ideas. These are just a few of the images my hubby snapped. It was hard to choose, there were so many! I think he captured this spectacular event & our beautiful harbour superbly.

Wonderland ~ Kirsty Mitchell

All images copyright Kirsty Mitchell

These images by photographer, Kirsty Mitchell, are just phenomenal! The few I've shown above are from a series entitled, Wonderland, so naturally I just had to share. I'm particularly taken with the first image. The hair & the ship are reminiscent of Marie-Antoinette for me & I have a love of purple hues.

Curious? Have a look at the rest of the Wonderland series & more breathtaking images on Kirsty's blog

I wonder if I've been changed in the night? Let me think. Was I the same when I got up this morning? I almost think I can remember feeling a little different. But if I'm not the same, the next question is 'Who in the world am I?' Ah, that's the greatest puzzle!

My Best Friend's Wedding ~ Part 2

A few more photos of my best friend, Ally's wedding, snapped by my hubster. If you missed part 1, see here. I adore that last pic of me kissing her. I bet if we searched through our old photos we'd find a matching one from when we were 14 or so. We've known each other since we were 7.

I handmade the little Sweet Love bunting for her dessert buffet and there was also a matching one above the bar that said Happily Ever After. Hopefully the photographer snapped one of those as well as some of the outdoor decor. As you can sort of see in the 2nd photo, Ally & Jon had set up little hay bales to look like lounge settings with blankets and mason jars filled with blossoms and tea lights.

I'm hanging for them to get back from their 2 month long honeymoon to hear all about it of course but also to see the professional shots! Hopefully I can share them with you soon enough. For now you can see some photos my hubby took of the stunning gardens at Milton Park where we stayed for the wedding weekend here...
