Fashionably Mature

Do you see yourself as forever stylish? Still caring about your fashionable threads when you're elderly? I've often thought about this. My Grandma always looks impeccable & is extremely modern. I often wonder where that turning point is for some people and when or what it is in their life that makes them just not care any more. I wonder whether that will happen to me... I hope to always stay stylish.

Scrolling through the Sportsgirl blog today, I came across a blog called Advanced Style. Creator, Ari Seth Cohen, tracks down the most fabulously fashionable older women that you could possibly find on the streets of New York. No unsightly purple rinses to be found here!

These are just a few of my favourite ladies. Check out the Advanced Style blog for plenty more stylish seniors. I seriously think this is the coolest blog ever!

Distraction

I should be working, but instead, look at all these beauties I found...

I quite obviously started out with a slight skull obsession, but then I found these other (non-skull) beauties...

Ok, distraction was just what I needed for a minute... or... many minutes..... Back to work now. Thank god it's Friday!!

A ONEderland Party

My very talented friend Kristy recently held a ONEderland party for her daughter, Bowie's, 1st birthday. What can I say? I'm a sucker for all things wonderland & just had to show a little sneak peek. How cute are the tweedle dee & tweedle dum sliders?

If you missed my mad birthday bash this year, you can check it out here.

Here's to a day of curious wonderment!

What's the Time Mr Wolf?

My latest love? My new Breo Roam watch!
It's made from tourmaline, the "gemstone of the rainbow" and comes in, well, pretty much every colour of the rainbow. After much deliberation I went with purple as it's my favourite colour, but I'm thinking of getting one in almost every colour.... am I crazy? I think they'd look kinda cool all bunched together... at least I'd have a different colour to suit my every mood...

Breo have all sorts of colourful gadgets besides timepieces from headphones & sunglasses to footwear, bags & belts. Check out the range here.
